Presidents of Croatia, Stjepan Mesic, of Macedonia, Boris
Tajkovski and of Albania, Alfred Moisiu, held their trilateral
meeting on Thursday, on the margins of the NATO's summit in Prague,
to confirm their plans for the strengthening of cooperation in bids
to come closer to Euro-Atlantic integration processes.
On Friday morning they held brief talks with Bush, and then the four
heads of state posed for their joint photograph.
The meeting between Bush and the three presidents reflects NATO's
orientation towards the continuation of an open door policy, the
Croatian ambassador told reporters.
On Thursday, the Alliance called seven former Communist countries
from central and eastern Europe to join it.
