According to the report, between 1 July and 31 December 2001, 377
million kuna (EUR50.3 million) was earmarked for war veterans, 929
flats and 16 houses were allocated to war victims. In 2000, 630
flats were allocated to war victims.
In said period, war victims were granted 492 housing loans in the
amount of 61 million kuna (EUR8.1 million), while 654,567 kuna
(EUR87,300) was spent on rent for allocated flats.
Opposition benches also objected to the report's failure to list
the war veterans, including disabled ones, who committed suicide or
suffered from post-traumatic stress, state the exact number of mass
graves and exhumed and identified persons, and present data on the
rights of veterans from Bosnia's Croat Defence Council.
