The event has been organised under the auspices of Croatian and
Hungarian Presidents Stjepan Mesic and Ferenc Madl.
In a letter to the president of Hungary's Croat State Self-
Government, Mijo Karagic, Maruna says that numerous cultural, arts
and educational institutions and media of the Croat community in
Hungary are an excellent indicator of Hungary's exemplary
attention to the interests and culture of the Croat minority.
Hungary's Croat State Self-Government and Alliance of Croats are
the minority's umbrella institutions in Hungary.
Maruna also congratulated the head of the "August Senoa" Croatian
Club in Pecs, Miso Hepp, on the club's 20 years of activity.
