FRANKFURT/MAIN, Nov 3 (Hina) - The Croatian World Congress branch in Germany will continue investing efforts into the strengthening of political and economic relations between Croats living in Germany and the homeland, as well as
support the adoption of a new election law which will not marginalise Croats living abroad, it was said at a regular electoral assembly, held in Bad Homburg near Frankfurt am Main on Saturday.
FRANKFURT/MAIN, Nov 3 (Hina) - The Croatian World Congress branch
in Germany will continue investing efforts into the strengthening
of political and economic relations between Croats living in
Germany and the homeland, as well as support the adoption of a new
election law which will not marginalise Croats living abroad, it
was said at a regular electoral assembly, held in Bad Homburg near
Frankfurt am Main on Saturday. #L#
Participants in the assembly agreed that the branch should continue
investing efforts into closer cooperation between political and
economic factors in Germany and Croatia.
Over the past two years, the organisation frequently contacted
political parties in Germany and Croatia and played an important
role in establishing ties between the German and Croatian
associations of towns, it was said.
Participants also stressed the intensive cooperation with numerous
German foundations operating in Croatia.
Slavko Leban was elected president of the Croatian World Congress
branch for the next two years.
