ZAGREB, Nov 5 (Hina) - The number of industrial workers in September this year increased by 0.2% in relation to August and dropped by 4.3% compared to last year's September, the State Bureau of Statistics reported.

this year increased by 0.2% in relation to August and dropped by

In the first nine months of this year labour productivity increased
by 8.1% in relation to the same period last year.
Compared to August, the number of workers in the mining industry
in September increased the most - by 1.2%, while productivity
branch increased by 15.4%.
In the first nine months manufacturing industry recorded the least
increase in work force - 0.1%, while productivity rose by 7.7%.
According to individual branches, the highest increase in the
number of workers in relation to August was reported in the tobacco
industry - 6.8%, while the number of workers manufacturing radio
and TV sets and communication equipment dropped the most, by 4.5%.
