RIJEKA, Oct 29 (Hina) - Representatives of the Rijeka port management and the management of Germany's Rostock port on Tuesday signed a memorandum on cooperation and got acquainted with business possibilities and development plans of
the two ports.

Presented at today's meeting were data on trade exchange between
Croatia's Primorje-Gorski Kotar County and Germany in 2001. Last
year Primorje-Gorski Kotar County exported US$87 million in goods
to Germany, which is 12.6 percent of the overall Croatian-German
exchange. In the same period the county imported US$80.9 million in
goods from Germany or 5.2 percent of Croatia's overall import from
that country.
