The 250-page book is divided into five sections: Belgrade's
Aggressive Goals, Coming out of the Conflict, Dubrovnik - Bulwark
on Civilisations from the East, Europe Recognises the Aggressor,
and Final Recognition of Sovereignty.
Editor Vlado Sakic says in the introduction the Kacic book had to be
published because it contributes to a better understanding of the
events which characterised the early 1990s in the so-called former
Yugoslavia, thus precluding incorrect interpretations in the
future.
Sakic expressed special thanks to the author of the preface,
Kathleen Vaughan Wilkes, a British scholar who teaches at Oxford.
Hrvoje Kacic dedicated the book to all war veterans who laid their
lives and health at Croatia's service.
