number of unsolved cases were the most frequently encountered
problems in the Croatian judiciary, the Croatian Supreme Court said

Judges are not the only ones responsible for that, the executive
authorities too have to create material conditions for the
operation of courts, while the legislative authorities must adopt
laws ensuring court efficiency, Crnic said.
Crnic participated as a special guest in a session of a permanent
conference of supreme court presidents from countries aspiring to
join the EU. The conference includes the Czech Republic, Hungary,
Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia.
