The course is a result of many years of research, world experience
and our need for entrepreneurs with the relevant knowledge and
skills, the head of the course, Dr. Slavica Singer, said.
According to Singer, the end objective of the course is the
establishment of an international business school in Osijek which
would incorporate several educational directives from the field
and operate as an independent institution within Osijek
University.
The founder of the institute "Open Society", George Soros, said
that the course was important for economic and social development
in eastern Croatia, estimating that the development of small and
medium businesses was vital for Croatia and the entire region.
