ZAGREB, Sept 27 (Hina) - Croatian parliamentary president Zlatko Tomcic will visit Italy and the Vatican on Monday to discuss with local officials Croatia's cooperation with The Hague-based UN war crimes tribunal in light of the
recent indictment of General Janko Bobetko.

Parliament said in a statement on Friday that Tomcic would visit
Italy and the Holy See as part of the intensive diplomatic
activities Croatia had recently undertaken.
Tomcic will meet the president of the Italian parliament's House of
Representatives, Pier Ferdinando Casini, and the Vatican's
secretary for relations with states, Msgr. Jean-Louis Tauran.
Tomcic will be accompanied by the chairman of parliament's foreign
affairs committee, Zdravko Tomac.
