After Mesic was questioned by the prosecutor on Tuesday, Milosevic
today started the cross-examination of the witness.
In the first part of his testimony yesterday Mesic accused the
former Yugoslav president of being responsible for the break-up of
the former Yugoslavia and the occupation of a part of Croatia in
collusion with the former JNA, as well as for attempts to establish
Great Serbia.
The Croatian president is the first public witness in the process
against Milosevic for crimes committed in Croatia and Bosnia.
