Presenting attitudes that are completely in opposition to the
attitude of the great majority of citizens, President Mesic once
again showed that he is not mature enough for the position he holds,
a press release signed by the party's president Ivic Pasalic said.
This is not the first time the president has labelled his political
opponents as extremists and on the example of some former times gone
by, refers to the fight against 'internal enemies' and defeated
forces, the statement says.
Proclaiming all those who oppose General Bobetko's extradition as
extremists, President Mesic has not only accused his coalition
partners of extremism but the Croatian Sabor and the entire
Government but also over 80 per cent of Croatian citizens, as public
opinion polls showed, who oppose the tribunal's indictment, the
Croatian Bloc's statement said.
