Strasbourg on Wednesday. #L#
The meeting was headed by Mr. Erik Jurgens, an advisor in the
Committee for Legal Issues and Human Rights in the Parliamentary
Assembly of the Council of Europe obliged to consider this
problem.
As established, negotiations were conducted within the Bank for
International Settlements in Basel and did not come up with any
results this summer and so a proposal by the Croatian delegation was
accepted that during October and November this year meetings be
held in Strasbourg which would be attended by authorised experts
for this problem by all the interested countries.
Participants in Wednesday's meeting confirmed that this important
but complicated issue be resolved and the forthcoming discussion in
Strasbourg should serve to this purpose.
