After the government on Friday afternoon returned the indictment to
the tribunal because the arrest warrant was addressed to the
tribunal's prosecution, not the government, the tribunal sent
another warrant on Friday night, addressed to the Croatian
authorities.
The warrant, signed by an ICTY judge, Liu Daqun, calls on Croatian
authorities to seek out, arrest and extradite General Janko Bobetko
to the tribunal-
Bobetko is charged with violating the law and customs of war, as
well as crimes against humanity in Croatia from September 9 through
17, 1993.
