The government has no other document which refers to the status of
General Bobetko and it cannot comment on or assess the situation at
this moment, Granic said. He added the public would be informed of
this after all information or documents were at the government's
disposal.
The government will be at General Bobetko's disposal and assist him
in any way he requests, Granic said.
According to Prime Minister Ivica Racan, the government will act in
line with the constitutional law on cooperation with the ICTY and
its conclusions.
Granic visited General Bobetko on Wednesday evening and informed
him of the ICTY request. Granic offered assistance to the general on
behalf of the government.
The prime minister also offered the government's assistance on
Thursday morning, stressing that the government appreciated
General Bobetko's role and contribution to the Homeland War.
