ZAGREB, Sept 17 (Hina) - Croatian Defence Minister Zeljka Antunovic and Croatian Armed Forces Chief-of-Staff Petar Stipetic met representatives of NATO's sub-committee for central and eastern Europe and informed them about the
reorganisation of the Armed Forces and efforts Croatia was investing in joining NATO, the Defence Ministry said in a statement.

representatives of NATO's sub-committee for central and eastern
Europe and informed them about the reorganisation of the Armed
Forces and efforts Croatia was investing in joining NATO, the
Defence Ministry said in a statement. #L#
NATO officials, led by sub-committee deputy chairman Donald
Andersen, praised Croatia's readiness to implement changes in the
defence system, and expressed satisfaction with the progress
Croatia had made in drawing closer to West European security and
political associations, the statement said.
During their stay in Croatia, the NATO delegation also visited the
Croatian Defence Ministry and the Croatian Armed Forces General
Staff.
