PRISTINA, Sept 12 (Hina) - NATO's commanding officer for Europe, US General Joseph Ralston, on Thursday visited Kosovo where he held talks with the UN Mission chief to the Yugoslav province, Michael Steiner.

talks with the UN Mission chief to the Yugoslav province, Michael

After the talks, General Ralston said the two spoke about forms and
possibilities of promoting cooperation among NATO, the KFOR (Nato-
led Kosovo Forces) and UNMIK (UN Mission to Kosovo).
Ralston described the security situation in Kosovo, as well as the
UNMIK's and KFOR's work as very good.
Ralston also held a working meeting with KFOR commanding officer,
General Marcel Valentin.
