ZAGREB TO START ON MONDAY ZAGREB, Sept 15 (Hina) - The 78th international autumn fair will be opened in Zagreb on Monday. The event, which will be held on over 100,000 square metres, draws over 1,700 exhibitors from 39 countries, and
this year's partner-country is China.

The fair will be opened by Croatian President Stjepan Mesic.
During this event which will end on 22 September, several
specialised fairs and programmes will also be held such as
Cromoney, the 4th fair of finance and business possibilities,
Intertekstil, the 58th international fair of textile, Modernpak,
19th international fair of packaging.
The Zagreb Fair (ZV) premises will be the venue for economic forums,
meetings of politicians and businessmen and a symposium on the
impact of a Stabilisation and Association Agreement (SAA), which
Zagreb concluded with the European Union, on the Croatian economy.
Business people from Poland and Hungary will hold meetings with
their Croatian counterparts.
A round table on the business cooperation between Zagreb, Ljubljana
and Sarajevo is also a part of the autumn fair.
Forty-four (44) companies from China, which is this year's partner,
will put on display their products, and about 160 Chinese
businessmen will arrive in the Croatian capital on this occasion.
An exhibition of the Chinese contemporary art will be staged on the
ZV premises by the end of this year.
