RIJEKA, Sept 10 (Hina) - The main hearing in the war crimes trial of the so-called Gospic Group has been adjourned until Sept. 30 due to a kidney stone attack which afflicted one of the defendants, the president of the Rijeka County
Court panel of judges presiding the trial, Ika Saric, said on Tuesday. Defendant Stjepan Grandic was transferred to the hospital for arrested persons in Zagreb. In the meantime, witnesses from Belgrade who refused to testify in Croatia will be questioned. These are mainly families of people who were abducted and later killed in the Gospic area in 1991 or people who witnessed these events.(hina) ha

the so-called Gospic Group has been adjourned until Sept. 30 due to
a kidney stone attack which afflicted one of the defendants, the
president of the Rijeka County Court panel of judges presiding the
trial, Ika Saric, said on Tuesday.
