HINA Zagreb, September 8, 2002ISTRIA COUNTY PREFECT HAILS FISHERMEN'S AGREEMENTPULA, Sept 8 (Hina) - Istria County Prefect Ivan Jakovcic on Sunday welcomed yesterday's agreement of Croatian and Slovene fishermen on the extension of
the moratorium by 15 September and their restraint from fishing in the contentious sea section until that date. Prefect Jakovcic said the agreement was in line with all the proposals he had suggested so far. "I believe that the defusion of the situation at sea is a pre-condition for the resolution of all the problems," Jakovcic told Hina. He expects of Croatian and Slovene Premiers Ivica Racan and Janez Drnovsek, who will meet in Zagreb on Tuesday, to create "a platform for the stabilisation of the current situation" and open prospects of a comprehensive solution of the bilateral relations.SLOVENE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES ON RELATIONS WITH CROATIALJUBLJANA, Sept 8 (Hina) - The majority of candidates for th
