In an interview with Voice of America, Xhaferi said that violence
threatened peace and stability in Macedonia.
He claimed that "this dangerous game" had been started by some parts
of the Macedonian government with the arrest of former members of
the Liberation National Army despite the amnesty law.
Xhaferi condemned the murder of Macedonian policemen and the
kidnapping of innocent Macedonian citizens.
He called on the international community to trust legitimate
Albanian factors, which would marginalise "detrimental elements"
in the Albanian society.
Xhaferi also stated that one could not say that Macedonia had a
normal government at present.
