Josko Joras of Mlini is known to customs police and judicial bodies
because he does not recognise Croatia's sovereignty and
territorial integrity in Mlini.
The incident occurred this morning when five residents of Umag
removed the flags of Slovenia and the European Union from Joras'
house, replacing them with a Croatian flag. Joras returned the
Slovene and EU flags, loudly playing the Slovene national anthem
and music.
Police are establishing if there is ground to press offence charges
against the five Umag men.
