ZAGREB, August 2 (Hina) - Croatian auto camps recorded 6 million overnight stays in the first seven months of this year, which is one (1) to two (2) per cent less than for the same period last year, according to provisional data from
the Camping Association of Croatia (KUH). The association, however, believes that this will improve in August and the yearly number will be increased by 5 to 6 per cent. The association's secretary, Jerko Sladoljev, said the poor results in July when a drop in the number of tourists was between five and ten percent, should be ascribed to bad weather as well as to an increase in prices, particularly in the area of Pula with a rise in prices of up to 60 percent.(hina) sp ms
