and chief of the parliamentary majority, Mato Arlovic, said.

He estimated the new Ivica Racan cabinet would receive far more
votes in favour than stipulated by the Constitution and the Rule
Book, which demand the support of at least 76 MPs (majority vote)
for the new government to pass.
Today's meeting of the parliamentary majority focused on whether a
constitutional bill on national minorities, to be tackled
tomorrow, should be adopted by urgent procedure, Arlovic said.
