ZAGREB, July 29 (Hina) - The average monthly net salary in Croatia in May amounted to 3,800 kuna (EUR513), which was 2.8 percent more in nominal and 2.1 percent more in real terms than in April, the Central Bureau of Statistics said
on Monday.

In the January-May 2002 period, the average monthly net salary
amounted to 3,644 kuna (EUR492), an increase of 3.4 percent in
nominal and of 0.9 percent in real terms as against the same time
last year.
Compared to May 2001, this May's average monthly net salary was 4.9
percent higher in nominal and 3.3 percent higher in real terms.
