ZAGREB, July 22 (Hina) - Resigned Economy Minister Hrvoje Vojkovic and US Ambassador to Croatia Lawrence Rossin on Monday signed an agreement by which the American Trade and Development Agency (TDA) will donate US$202,000 to finance a
feasibility study for the Constanta-Omisalj-Trieste oil pipeline (passing through Rumania, Yugoslavia and Croatia).
ZAGREB, July 22 (Hina) - Resigned Economy Minister Hrvoje Vojkovic
and US Ambassador to Croatia Lawrence Rossin on Monday signed an
agreement by which the American Trade and Development Agency (TDA)
will donate US$202,000 to finance a feasibility study for the
Constanta-Omisalj-Trieste oil pipeline (passing through Rumania,
Yugoslavia and Croatia). #L#
TDA has committed the feasibility study to the US based HLP Parsons
company which will ensure an additional US$100,000 required to
complete the study. The study should be completed by the end of
November next year.
Vojkovic expressed hope that the pipeline project would contribute
to better regional connections and economic cooperation in this
part of Europe.
Ambassador Rossin the project was important for Croatia, Rumania
and Yugoslavia as well as regional cooperation.
