"We received no new information, but locations already mentioned as
places of residence of Ratko Mladic. Anyway, Carla del Ponte was
told that the police would once again check the cited addresses," a
source, close to participants' in Friday's talks in Belgrade, was
quoted by the radio as saying.
The official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, described
the talks as "tough" and added that the tribunal's prosecutor was
very nervous.
"It was reiterated that the Serbian Interior Ministry has no
knowledge that Ratko Mladic is on the Serbian territory," the same
source said adding that del Ponte insisted on the accelerated
search for that war criminal.
Prior to her visit to Belgrade on Friday, del Ponte claimed that she
knew the exact address of Mladic, while Minister Mihajlovic
responded that he would be willing to "check the address together
with Carla del Ponte."
