ZAGREBACKA BANK AND EBRD SIGN AGREEMENT ON AGRICULTURE LOANS

ZAGREB, July 18 (Hina) - Zagrebacka banka (ZABA) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) signed an agreement on the division of risk when issuing loans to persons involved with breeding poultry, wheat, corn, barley, sunflower seeds, Soya and other crops, ZABA reported on Thursday. #L# With the agreement signed on Wednesday, July 17, ZABA determined an amount of 71 million euros for loans to persons in the agricultural sector which in addition to the usual security instruments can now use wheat products as an instrument of security. The EBRD however, guarantees payment of 35 per cent of the total requested for these particular loans while ZABA will be responsible for 65 per cent of the risks involved. (hina) sp ms
