Komadina made this statement on Tuesday to the association of
"Croatian Transporters" when the association demanded that the
limitation on trucks during the tourist season, be abolished,
particularly on Highway D-1.
Komadina stressed that the attitude to threaten with road blocks
during the tourist season was absolutely unacceptable until all
other avenues were explored at a joint table. This was in response
to frequent announcements by the transporters that they would block
Croatian roads.
Komadina dismissed accusations by the association, of corruption
in the Ministry, requesting that the association submits valid
evidence of apparent criminal dealings.
