During the regular session, representatives of social democratic
parties from Central and East Europe discussed the improvement of
cooperation and security in the region.
The SDP's international secretary Irina Stajcic said in a report on
the situation in Croatia that "the departure of the Croatian Social
Liberal Party (HSLS) from the ruling coalition will not affect the
accomplishment of set objectives". "The SDP, whose president is the
premier designate, will continue working responsibly on the
implementation of programmes until the regular election," the SDP
quoted the party official as saying.
