PAKRAC IS GOOD - US OFFICIAL PAKRAC, July 12 (Hina) - The director of the State Department's office for Southern and Central Europe, Paul Jones, during his stay in Pakrac on Friday pointed out good cooperation between this western
Slavonian town and the US government which resulted in the revival of some areas. Jones also said the cooperation created conditions for the return of people to their homes.
PAKRAC, July 12 (Hina) - The director of the State Department's
office for Southern and Central Europe, Paul Jones, during his stay
in Pakrac on Friday pointed out good cooperation between this
western Slavonian town and the US government which resulted in the
revival of some areas. Jones also said the cooperation created
conditions for the return of people to their homes. #L#
The US official held talks with town's leadership. Pakrac heads
informed Jones of the reconstruction and development of economy and
the return of displaced persons.
Croatian Mine Action Centre Deputy director Mirko Ivanusic
informed the US official of mine removal projects in Croatia which
are financially assisted by the US Agency for International
Development (USAID).
USAID director for Croatia Pamela Baldwin and deputy mission at the
US Embassy in Zagreb Patrick Moon also visited Pakrac on Friday.
