The message was conveyed to Mesic by Gadafi's son Saif, who is in a
private visit to Croatia, Mesic's Office said in a statement.
Mesic accepted Lt. Col. Gadafi's invitation to visit Libya, and
hoped the Libyan leader would visit Zagreb next year.
