ZAGREB, June 26 (Hina) - There were 258,000 tourists on the Croatian Adriatic coast at the beginning of this week, ten percent more than in the same period last year, the Croatian National Tourist Board reported on Wednesday.

Most of the holiday-makers were foreigners (235,000), while 22,500
were Croatians.
Over 100,000 tourists spent holidays in Istria (a five-percent
rise), while 89,000 were in three Dalmatian counties (an eight-
percent rise).
The number of guests climbed by 20 percent to 68,000 in the Kvarner
area.
