According to the verdict, Milanovic failed to follow the
instructions of the RTS security after he was told the RTS building
might be a target and failed to relocate the TV studio.
Milanovic said yesterday he was not guilty. His attorney Branimir
Gugl claimed Milanovic received orders "exclusively from the
government and the president of the state (Slobodan Milosevic)."
The families of the 16 victims are unhappy with the verdict. They
expected the maximum penalty of 15 years.
Milanovic may appeal against the sentence in 15 days.
