The final deadline for the registration of voters is Thursday, June
20, and it will not be extended, spokesman for the Mostar Office of
the OSCE Mission, Richard Medic, said today.
According to the latest data, 4,025 Bosnian citizens living in
Croatia have registered for the elections. It is estimated that
this accounts for some 10 percent of BH citizens who reside in
Croatia and have the right to vote in the Bosnian election.
The OSCE spokesman said 2,421 Bosnian voters residing in Yugoslavia
had registered for the vote, which accounted for some two percent of
eligible BH citizens living in Yugoslavia.
Medic said that more than 700 Bosnian citizens residing in Slovenia
had registered for the elections, as had around 3,500 Bosnians in
Austria and 6,750 Bosnians in Germany. Around 7,000 Bosnian
citizens residing in Sweden, 1,600 living in the United States, and
another 700 living in Australia have registered for the vote as
well.
