happened in the Mostar area in the past several days, mostly
involving returnees who were subjected to abuse. #L#
UN Mission Office spokeswoman Kirsten Haupt said one incident
involved two Bosniaks who abused and insulted a Serb on a city bus.
Haupt said another incident involved two Croats, who kidnapped a
Bosniak, took him to an apartment, where they beat him up, and then
stole his car and mobile phone.
The UN Mission is concerned about these and other incidents because
they are potentially harmful for the whole situation, particularly
for refugee return, Haupt said.
