In the latest round of diplomatic property division Croatia was
given an empty house in Washington DC which is ready for moving in, a
residence in Oslo, a general consulate in Frankfurt, and an
apartment in Trieste, said Tatjana Kralj Draganic.
The joint committee is working intensively so that after the
ratification of the succession agreement, signed in Vienna a year
ago, the successor states could become the owners of the allocated
property at once, said the leader of the Macedonian negotiating
team, Viktor Gaber.
Today the joint committee was submitted lists of the successor
states' works of art found on diplomatic and consular premises.
Experts agreed the lists matched and that nothing had been stolen.
The joint committee in charge of diplomatic and consular property
next convenes in Belgrade in September.
