Mirko Marjanovic, a former Serbian prime minister during
Milosevic's rule, had 1.25 million Swiss francs in his account,
Tomislav Jankovic, a former head of the Serbian health insurance
fund, had 800,000 francs in his account, while a certain "Mr.
Mitrovic" from the same fund had 200,000 francs in his account,
Djelic said.
Marjanovic, who has dismissed all information about his accounts
abroad as "disgusting lies" and announced that he will sue the media
and reporters who published it, had an account with UBS bank in the
Swiss city of Chiass, which he opened as a representative of the
chemicals company BASS.
A commission investigating the case has collected payment orders
for the account of Tomislav Jankovic which prove that he received
commission for the provision of medicines.
Djelic said that the Swiss investigation against the three was
completed. An investigation against another four suspects will be
completed soon and the money returned following court proceedings
in Belgrade, he said.
Djelic said that he would visit France on Monday due to indications
that Milosevic's associates had property and accounts in that
country. He is expected to meet French tax experts.
