Filip Lacic, a representative of unassigned police who have been on
a hunger strike for sixty days requesting for their status to be
solved, told Hina that at today's meeting with government
representatives, he had been informed Lovrencic had been retired,
but he had not yet been given the notice.
Vice-Premier Goran Granic, Police Director Ranko Ostojic and
chairman of a commission for unassigned police, Milan Pemper, on
Friday received police representatives and handed them a report on
the work of the commission adopted by the government yesterday.
They told the police representatives to ask Lovrencic, whose case
had been solved, to stop striking, a government statement said.
