upper house, Aleksandar Torsin, and the leaders of three party
benches.
During the talks, Croatian and Russian officials said that the two
countries' good political relations had resulted in better
economic relations, particularly in the power and shipbuilding
industry, as well as in tourism, science and culture.
The talks also focused on the possibility of having the Russian
state de-mining centre remove mines in Croatia as a way of settling
the clearing debt to Croatia, as well as on the situation in
Southeast Europe.
