The vehicles were handed over to HCR director Damir Gorseta by
Norwegian Ambassador Knut Toraasen at a ceremony at the HCR parking
lot in Sisak.
Gorseta thanked Ambassador Toraasen and the Norwegian government
for their assistance in mine clearance to date and reminded that
Croatia and Norway had worked together on 15 anti-mine projects.
The latest joint project is underway in Zadar County and another
project in Vukovar-Srijem County is being considered, Gorseta
said.
Ambassador Toraasen thanked the HCR for co-operation to date and
its successful work, adding that the HCR had a great reputation in
the international community.
The Norwegian government has increased its assistance for mine
clearance this year so that Croatia could be rid of mines as soon as
possible, Toraasen said.
