During the day, the Croatian president will go sightseeing and hold
talks with the Alma Ata mayor. The Croatian delegation should
return to Zagreb this evening.
On Friday, Mesic held talks with the president of Kazakhstan,
Nursultan Nazarbajev, the same sources reported.
The Croatian president also spoke before the parliament in
Kazakhstan on combating global terrorism, the same sources said.
During the visit, Croatian deputy Economy Minister Maja Brinar and
Kazakhtan's Economy Minister Mazhit Jesenbajev signed an agreement
on the two countries' cooperation in economy and trade.
After Mesic speech in the parliament, the two presidents addressed
a business forum, attended by businessmen from Croatia and
Kazakhstan.
Prior to his visit to Kazakhstan, the Croatian President was on a
two-day visit to Russia.
