ZAGREB, April 19 (Hina) - The president of the Croatian Judges' Association, Vladimir Gredelj, on Friday assessed accusations by State Prosecutor Radovan Ortynski on the involvement of the judicial authorities in organised crime as
completely unfounded. Ortynski who submitted his resignation last week, presented these accusations in the Croatian parliament. Gredelj said in a statement this was another completely irresponsible and unsuccessful Ortynski's attempt to sell the story on collective conspiracy against "a lonely fighter for justice" instead of admitting his own incompetence. Submitting a report on the work of the State Prosecutor's Office in 2001, Ortynski said in the parliament that organised crime had its people in judiciary, politics and media. (hina) it sb
