ASTANA/ZAGREB, April 19 (Hina) - Croatian President Stipe Mesic, who is on a two-visit to Kazakhstan, on Friday held talks with the president of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbajev, sources close to the Croatian delegation
reported.

The Croatian president also spoke before the parliament in
Kazakhstan on combating global terrorism, the same sources said.
During the visit, Croatian deputy Economy Minister Maja Brinar and
Kazakhtan's Economy Minister Mazhit Jesenbajev signed an agreement
on the two countries' cooperation in economy and trade.
After Mesic speech in the parliament, the two presidents addressed
a business forum, attended by businessmen from Croatia and
Kazakhstan.
Mesic should visit former capital and Kazakhtan's strongest
economic centre Alma Ati on Saturday.
Prior to his visit to Kazakhstan, the Croatian President was on a
two-day visit to Moscow and St. Petersburg.
