SARAJEVO, April 17 (Hina) - Bosnian Foreign Minister Zlatko Lagumdzija said on Wednesday he hoped that the parliaments of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Republika Srpska would show enough maturity and pass amendments to
the two entities' constitutions by Friday. This would ensure the integral implementation of a decision of the Bosnian Constitutional court on all three peoples being constituent throughout Bosnia, Lagumdzija said.

Lagumdzija said this to reporters after a meeting with European
Union high representative for security and foreign policy Javier
Solana.
Solana also called on all political parties in Bosnia to show
political maturity and vote for the amendments.
The Prime Minister of the Republic Srpska, Mladen Ivanic, who also
held talks with Solana, told reporters the Republika Srpska
parliament would adopt "technical changes" to the previously
passed amendments in order that they be entirely adjusted to the
"Sarajevo Agreement".
Ivanic believes that the adopted amendments are in line with the
agreement and that there is no reason that they be denied. He said
the amendments did not limit the role of the future Council of
Peoples in the Republika Srpska.
Bosnian Serb parliament speaker Dragan Kalinic, who is also the
president of the Serb Democratic Party (SDS), on Tuesday evening
forwarded a letter to High Representative Wolfgang Petritsch
saying that the amendments to the entity constitution would be
adjusted to the requests of the international community.
Petritsch said the amendments must be adopted by April 18. He also
warned the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) and the Croatian
Democratic Union (HDZ BiH) that they will have to take consequences
if they refuse to vote for the constitutional amendments.
