He warned the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) and the Croatian
Democratic Union (HDZ BiH) that they will have to take consequences
if they refuse to vote for the constitutional amendments, proposed
by the government of the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina.
After a meeting with the European Union Commissioner for security
and foreign affairs, Javier Solana, Petritsch told reporters in
Sarajevo that Bosnia was entering a key stage which will set its
political future. Constitutional changes must be adopted tomorrow,
he said.
He said the HDZ BiH and the SDA must vote for the amendments which
can mean a lot for Bosnia's Future.
Solana said he entirely supported Petritsch and on behalf of the
European Union he called on all parties to adopt the amendments as
soon as possible.
