"The High Representative expressed his serious concern with regard
to the adopted amendments. They are not in keeping with, nor do they
reflect the agreement reached March 27th", a press release issued
by Petritsch's Office said following the meeting of the
Administrative Committee held in Sarajevo.
Petritsch believes that the Sarajevo Agreement on Constitutional
Amendments cannot entail further negotiations and need to be
implemented so that the election law can be amended on time.
The OHR reported that during the day Petritsch spoke about the
agreement with political party officials from the Bosnian
Federation and the US and Spanish Ambassadors, representing the
European Union.
A meeting between the OHR and political party leaders in Republika
Srpska has been announced for Wednesday.
