ZAGREB FAIR: MEDALS PRESENTED TO BEST WINE, FOOD MANUFACTURERS ZAGREB, April 16 (Hina) - Medals and awards for quality were presented on Tuesday to the most successful Croatian and foreign wine and food manufacturers participating in
the Zagreb Fair's international enogastronomy fair. Four wines and seven food products were proclaimed quality champions.

presented on Tuesday to the most successful Croatian and foreign
wine and food manufacturers participating in the Zagreb Fair's

The Varazdin-based Vindija garnered 44 quality medals. Among the
foreigners, Slovenia's Ptuj-based Perutnina won 22 medals.
The best wines were the Djakovo riesling from 1997, the 1999
cabernet-sauvignon by Porec's Agrolaguna, the 2001 chardonnay by
manufacturer Pilat Koncet and Elidjo from Vizinada, and the 1999
champagne by Slovene manufacturer Radgonske Gorice.
