Budisa spoke positively about government activities, stressing
among else a decrease in public spending, a stabilised banking
system, a drop in interest rates and an improved credit rating
abroad. He also said that Croatia's foreign currency reserves were
higher than ever, and that the banking system was stable and could
withstand blows such as the recent scandal at Rijecka Banka.
The Zagreb Fair has made progress in relation to last year, Budisa
said, expressing hope that this would stimulate cooperation among
business subjects in the country, as well as their cooperation with
foreign partners.
