The loan to Rijecka Banka was approved on April 9th, based on an
agreement within the Croatian Association of Banks arranging the
party loan on behalf of the Dubrovacka Banka, Erste &
Steiermaerkische Banka, Hypo Alpe-Adria-Banka, Privredna Banka
Zagreb, Raiffeisenbank Austria and the Zagrebacka Banka.
This transaction, although rare in Croatian practise, resembles a
common practise abroad to offer loans by a party of banks, bankers
noted on Friday.
The bankers further said that the loan confirmed the confidence of
other banks and the banking sector with regard to the business
prospects of Rijecka Banka, and the bank was offered an opportunity
of financing on the market under current conditions.
